Privacy policy

This page explains, in plain English, what happens to the details you give us when you join the Nekko Agent beta on this website. The Nekko Agent app itself runs on your own computer; this policy covers the beta sign-up form and the emails that come from it.

Who we are

Nekko Agent is made by Nekko Labs LLC ("we", "us"), a Wyoming company at 30 North Gould Street, Suite N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. We decide what is collected and how it is used. You can reach us at hello@nekkoagent.com.

What the beta form stores

• Your email address.
• Your name, only if you choose to give it.
• Where you signed up: the page path (for example /) and any campaign tags in the link that brought you (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content). Never the full web address.
• When you agreed to hear from us, and whether you have confirmed, been invited, joined or unsubscribed.

We don't store your IP address with your sign-up, and the form keeps nothing else.

Why we keep it

• To check that it really was you who signed up (we email you a confirm link).
• To send your beta invite, and occasional Nekko Agent updates.
• To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to the beta, as totals.

We use it because you asked to join and agreed to these emails. We never sell or share it, and we don't use it for advertising.

Where it's stored

• Neon (database) and Fly.io (the server that receives the form), both in the United States.
• Resend sends our emails, so it handles your email address when we write to you. It also keeps its records in the United States.

These providers process the data on our behalf and only to run these services. If you live outside the United States, your details are sent to and kept in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

How long we keep it

• If you never confirm your sign-up, we delete it after 30 days.
• If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you straight away and delete your details. We keep only a scrambled (one-way hashed) copy of your email address, so we can make sure we never email it again. To be taken off that list too, email us.
• Otherwise we keep it while the beta runs, or until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@nekkoagent.com from the address you signed up with and we'll do it. Every email we send also has a one-click unsubscribe link.

If you are in the EU or the UK, our legal basis for using your details is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us. You can also complain to your local data protection authority: in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office, and in Japan the Personal Information Protection Commission.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
